Premier League Match week 33

Leicester City v Newcastle

We have Friday night football again this week. Brendan Rogers has won 4 games on the bounce and is starting to live up to all the hype of his appointment. This looks like a home win but Newcastle aren’t out of the woods just yet in terms of relegation. 7 points with 6 games left is enough to be confident though.

With Vardy in form it’s difficult to see anything other than a home win here.

Leicester to win 7/10

Tottenham v Huddersfield

Spurs are back again in their new stadium and have the easiest fixture in the premier league to look forward to. Huddersfield have been pretty much useless this season and with the points needed in North London this should be routine.

Over 3.5 goals at EVEN money

Brighton v Bournemouth

Brighton are back in prem action this week after narrowly missing out to City in the FA Cup semi final last weekend. They can take some confidence that it was only by the one goal. This is a must-win game if they want to secure Premier League football next season. They have a 5-points safety net but these are the games that can ease the nerves and have them looking at their holidays rather than looking over their shoulder.

I fancy a home win here to push clear of Cardiff.

Brighton to win at 13/10

Burnley v Cardiff

This is simply a must win game for Cardiff. If they want to give themselves a chance of staying up this is the game. With trips still to Liverpool and Manchester United this is one of 4 games they can win. If they don’t take the points then I think it will be the end of the road for the blue birds.

Burnley after a horrific start to the season have gained some momentum to stay away from the drop zone. A win here will not only make themselves pretty much safe but in turn do the same for Newcastle, Brighton and Southampton.

I just have this sneaky feeling Cardiff haven’t finished fighting just yet!

Cardiff to win 7/2

Fulham v Everton

Everton are on form at the moment. Victorious in their last 3 games including Chelsea and Arsenal. Marco Silva has got his team finally playing how he wants. Still in the mix for 7th place which will most likely get Europa League football for next season. Fulham on the flip side are relegated and looking to next season already.

It is hard to see anything other than an Everton win here.

Everton to win 9/11

Southampton v Wolves

Wolves would have had a tough week, 2-0 up in the Semi final against Watford but somehow managed to lose the game AET. I am sure the place would have felt very somber this week with players feeling low. They can’t forget what a great season they are having and give it one last push to finish off the season well.

Southampton played well against Liverpool and they looked to have picked up since the new manager came in.

A point a piece in this one I reckon.

Draw at 2/1

Watford v Arsenal

This is the Monday night game and couldn’t come at a worse time for Arsenal. Defeat to Everton last week gave them a huge set back. This game comes in the middle of two huge Europa league quarter final games with Napoli.

Watford are buzzing! In the Final of the FA Cup. They will be confident of putting in another big performance here. Troy Deeney is a handful for anyone and we know he has history with the Arsenal fans.

What Gracia is doing with the hornets is incredible.

The draw looks decent here at 11/4

Manchester United v West Ham United

United welcome West Ham in the late game on Saturday night. With the poor result at Wolves this has turned into a crucial game. No more mistakes otherwise its Europa League football. West Ham have nothing to play for and you would expect only one result here.

Manchester United to win half time and full time at 11/10

 Crystal Palace v Manchester City

Now this is where it gets interesting! Liverpool now are waiting for that one draw, one defeat. The Reds will want their destiny in their own hands. With City in the middle of a duel with Spurs this is another tough tough game they face. Palace are one of the places you don’t want to go at a crucial stage of the season. I think this could be the game that gives Liverpool the advantage.

Palace and the draw at 5/2

Liverpool v Chelsea

Liverpool might be buoyed on by the City result earlier in the day. I can’t see Chelsea stopping the Red machine here. In fact, I don’t even think this will be close. Sarri has had problems for months and even with some good results, bad ones tend to follow. Also, with this the 3rd game in 6 fays for them its too much.

Liverpool will win this and you can get 4/7 when in truth I would have priced is more like ¼

Liverpool to win 4/7
