The name may not ring any bells, but 10bet has been floating around the sports betting scene since 2003. Why it hasn’t made a bigger impact on the industry is something we’ll try to answer in this 10bet review. But it’s clear that despite its longevity, 10bet is situated firmly in the shadow of industry big guns such as Sky Bet, Ladbrokes Sports and Betfair Sports

That doesn’t mean there isn’t anything to recommend it. On the contrary, with a nice range of niche markets, exclusive bets, and high betting and withdrawal limits, 10bet could be right on the money for high rollers and serious bettors of every stripe.

Safety and Trustworthiness

10bet projects an aura of reliability and stability that should reassure most punters. It’s racked up nearly 20 years in the industry, has its headquarters in the European Union, and now operates worldwide. All in all, solid foundations.

Beyond that, it holds valid licenses issued by the UK Gambling Commission and the gambling authorities of Malta, Sweden and Ireland, so players from the UK should have no worries about fair treatment or the safety of their funds. 10bet is also a member of the fair gaming body, the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS).

On Trustpilot it has a solid 4/5 stars which considering feedback sites like this are always distorted by those with negative gripes makes it a very good score.

Deposits & Withdrawals

10bet offers the majority of popular deposit methods. Withdrawal times are standard with 1-2 days for all e-wallets and debit cards. There’s an exception for bank transfers which can take up to 3 days. Deposit and withdrawal minimums start at just £10 for all methods except for bank transfer which starts at £25. In the UK bank transfer is an option for withdrawals only.

Mobile

10bet does its best to not overcomplicate things on the mobile sports betting front, which actually proves to be a smart move. While other sites seem to be dead set on throwing endless graphs and stats at players (we’re looking at you, William Hill), you’ll find none of that here, as the handheld app appears incredibly approachable, even to those who are new to sports betting.

Compatibility wise, anyone with an iOS or Android device can freely download the 10bet app. Apple fans having the ability to download direct from the app store. After doing so, you’ll be able to place bets on more than 200 different live events every single day of the week. This number is by no means small, and compares well to the mobile offerings of the big name sportsbooks.

The only issue we really have with 10bet on the handheld front is the similarity of the mobile site and the mobile app. Because of the download aspect, you expect the mobile app to outdo its browser-based counterpart. That really isn’t the case here, as the mobile site and app are pretty much identical, which, although it performs well, seems like a missed opportunity.

Bet Offers

The welcome promotions for new players at 10bet takes the form of a deposit bonus rather than free bet, and is based on the size of your first deposit. It offers up to a maximum of £50, and is payable as a 100% match.

There’s an 8 times wagering requirement (that means the deposit and bonus amount needs to be played through 8 times), with 4/5 min. single odds or 2/5 min. acca selection odds.

You’ll find a decent selection of regular promotions as well. There’s a monthly reload bonus to keep existing players on board, with an up to 50% Acca Bonus on offer at the time of writing. Then there’s a fairly standard range of free bet and money-back promotions that offer free bet payouts on certain specific occurrences, like your horse losing by a head or less.

Betting Markets And Odds Quality

Here’s an area where 10bet really shines. They claim to offer an average of 60,000 events to bet on each month, and the extensive selection of world sports you can bet on is thoroughly impressive. You’ll find sports you didn’t even know existed, let alone were able to pop a couple of quid on.

At the time of review there were 33 different sports to bet on, with thousands of betting markets for the most popular ones like football, horse racing and tennis. It’s possible to place bets on 150 different football leagues from around the world. And when you’re feeling really adventurous, you can always have a quick punt on floorball or bandy. You can also wager on the increasingly popular eSports, and there are some nice special markets, like Eurovision and elections.

When it comes to odds quality, 10bet might not offer anything to blow your socks off. It’s generally competitive if nothing more, but what they do is offer decent odds on tons of markets earlier than anyone else.

There are also a few different features and offers that can improve your odds on certain markets. The Acca Boost, for instance, nets you an additional cash bonus on winning combination bets, from 2% for trebles all the way up to 50% on a 16-fold bet.

In case you prefer horse racings and your horse loses by a head or less only, you could easily claim an up to £10 refund.

There are also many occasional promotions on 10bet that you won’t want to miss.

In-Play Betting

While size and stature is by no means on the side of 10bet, it hasn’t stopped the site from giving players a favourable in-play betting experience. Markets-wise, this boutique site can rival some of the big guns, with 30 or more live betting markets seemingly running at any given time. Looking at what impressed us most, the in-play markets on football were incredibly expansive, covering hundreds of different games over the course of a single weekend.

If in-play betting at 10bet has one major downside, it’s probably related to live streaming. This is because it doesn’t have a single byte of it to offer members. Live streaming the biggest sporting events (both on desktop and mobile devices) is becoming commonplace these days, so in that sense 10bet has really fallen behind the times.

Good news is that it’s easy to cash out your bet at any time, on single and Acca bets, both pre-game and in-play. You’ll see an icon beside your selection when cash out is available. 10bet offers more control than many of its rivals thanks to a partial cash out feature, which gives you the chance to leave part of your bet still active. You just use the slider to set how much you want to withdraw.

Support

Should you encounter any problems with the games or banking, the support team is available 24/7 on the phone, by email and live chat. They also have a solid FAQ section for those who would prefer to have their issues solved on their own.

This is excellent but we would like to have this option complimented by email/ticket and also a solid FAQ section – not everyone wants to hang on the phone to have their query answered.

Review Summary

You’ll find words like “solid” and “decent” peppered throughout this review. That’s possibly a little harsh on a UK betting site as good as 10bet, but that’s because it’s a very difficult bookie to pin an identity on. It puts up a good showing in every category required of a top-shelf online betting site, from its odds pricing and cash-outs to its mobile apps, yet it never grabs you by the lapels and demands your attention.

10bet is a good bookie without a standout feature that you could point to as being better than its rivals. For this reason we’re marking it as an 8/10 site. Having said all this, you’d unlikely to have any regrets about choosing it as your regular bookmaker.
