Launched in 2020, Rainbow Spins is part of a collection of popular bingo sites operated by Jumpman Gaming Limited. Like its sister sites operated by Jumpman, Rainbow Spins is characterised by putting everything under one roof. By that, we mean it has a top-class online casino integrated into its bingo platform. As such, players can get loads of casino promotions alongside their regular bingo offers. Rainbow Spins has an eye-catching welcome offer where you can win up to 500 free spins. But read our full review before you sign up to get the full lowdown on this popular online gaming platform.

Safety and Trustworthiness

The operator of Rainbow Spins, Jumpman Gaming Limited (founded in 2011), has a very good reputation for providing both bingo and casino products, in Europe as well as in the UK; in addition, the company is currently growing in the UK, which we consider a clearly good sign. Rainbow Spins has full accreditation from the relevant authorities, including a licence from the UK Gambling Commission and the AGCC (Alderney) for players outside of Great Britain. Rainbow Spins also has a certificate from SQS, which tests gaming websites to ensure that the software used is random and fair. Finally, on the security front, Rainbow Spins uses top-level encryption to protect your data and financial transactions. This has been verified by a GoDaddy certificate for security.

As for how players and expert reviewers perceive Rainbow Spins, we see some positive feedback. Most review sites have recommended Rainbow Spins, acknowledging the big choice of games, site design and numerous promotions. Player feedback is also good, and we found positive reviews from players on forums like AskGamblers. There are some negative comments that crop up, however, which we will expand on later in this review.

Deposits & Withdrawals

The banking system at Rainbow Spins ticks all the boxes, with payment options like PayPal, Pay By Mobile and Paysafecard offered alongside debit cards. Withdrawal processing times range from 1-5 days. A £2.50 transaction charge for each withdrawal is not going to win any fans, however.

Bonuses and Promotions

The main new player bonus offer from Rainbow Spins is a chance to open your Pot Of Gold. The welcome offer is open to all new players who make a deposit of £10 or more. Opening the Pot of Gold can reward you with up to 500 free spins, or other goodies like Amazon vouchers. While getting 500 free spins is exciting (the current slot chosen for the promo is Irish Pot Luck), you should be aware that this promotion does not guarantee a prize. You do not need an online bingo promo code to activate the welcome bonus, and you can opt out of the promotion at any time.

Winnings from free spins are originally credited to your account as bonus funds, and they must be wagered 65 times before they can become withdrawable cash. In addition, winnings are capped at a maximum of £250. The wagering requirements are definitely on the high side (around half that amount is standard in the industry), and if making requests, we would like to see the win cap raised a bit. To be frank, the welcome bonus seems a little bit underwhelming once you delve into the terms and conditions.

Fortunately, Rainbow Spins makes up for this by providing loads of other casino offers. On the promos page, you will find lots of ways to get free spins, cashback, and additional chances to open the Pot of Gold. There is also a fun trophy hunt, where you can unlock even more free spins, and win Amazon vouchers.

You will probably be wondering why we haven’t mentioned new player bingo promotions. That’s because there aren’t any. Players are directed towards the Friday Fun room in the promotions tab, but it isn’t really a bingo bonus. While the casino offers are great, we would really like to see Rainbow Spins throw out some free bingo tickets for new players too.

Game Selection

Rainbow Spins has 12 bingo rooms, powered by Jumpman Gaming’s in-house software. You will find 90-ball, 80-ball and 75-ball bingo games on offer. The big draw here are arguably the three Bingo Millions rooms, which, as the name suggests, have prize funds of £1 million and over. Elsewhere you will find good prizes in the Boombox and Country Road rooms. Games start every few minutes, and there always seem to be plenty of players logged on.

Aside from the bingo selection, Rainbow Spins’ strongest suit might be its vast collection of slot games – over 900 in total. The slots are selected from some of the best game developers on the planet – NetEnt, Eyecon, Barcrest, Microgaming and several others. You will find large numbers of classic slot games like Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest and Bonanza, as well as new favourites like Big Bucks Bandits Megaways. We particularly like that there is a big selection of Slingo games, which are becoming very popular with UK online bingo players. Almost 30 jackpot slots are also available.

We mentioned that Rainbow Spins is a top-class online casino, and that means it has a plush live dealer suite. It features live blackjack and roulette, provided by Pragmatic Play, a trusted brand in live dealer casino. A range of virtual table games, including poker, blackjack and roulette can also be found, all provided by trusted software developers.

As for the functionality and site design overall, it’s fair to say that Rainbow Spins is an attractive bingo and casino platform. The theme is that of Irish luck, so you get rainbows, pots of gold and a leprechaun or two. Functionality is good, and it’s easy to find games, promos and manage your account.

Mobile App

There isn’t an official mobile bingo app for Rainbow Spins. But, like all Jumpman Gaming sites, Rainbow Spins has been optimised for mobile gaming. The site works fine on any (relatively modern) smartphone or tablet, and we would probably say that the mobile site is superior to the desktop version in terms of design and layout – it’s a lot more colourful and feels a bit more modern. If you have a choice and care about layout and the general look and feel, play bingo on your mobile instead of the desktop.

Support

One of the common complaints we have detected in player feedback about Rainbow Spins is that customer service is lacking. There is no live chat or phone number, so you must contact Rainbow Spins’ team by email – they say they endeavour to respond within two days. Rainbow Spins does not have a social media presence, although its parent company does.

Review Summary

As we have hinted throughout this review, Jumpman Gaming sites are proving to be very popular in the UK with bingo and casino players. Rainbow Spins isn’t a big departure from other Jumpman sites, like Zeus Bingo, but it has its own character. Sadly, some of the good things about Rainbow Spins – great games, cool design, plenty of promos – are overshadowed by the bad – withdrawal fees and bonus terms. Still, Rainbow Spins is a reputable bingo and casino games provider, and you can understand its popularity. With a few small fixes, it could garner better than the 6/10 we are awarding it now.
