The name’s Bingo. Ted Bingo. It’s a site that prefers its bingo action shaken, not stirred…Yes, there’s a James Bond theme running throughout Ted Bingo, a bingo site that was launched back in 2016. Owned and operated by Cassava Enterprises, it’s part of the 888 family, alongside some of the biggest online gambling brands in the world. With attractive promotions, some big money games, and a slick, easy to use website, Ted Bingo was launched to shake things up in the bingo market. But does its offering live up to the hype?

Safety and Trustworthiness

Ted Bingo starts from the fortunate position of being owned by Cassava Enterprises – a huge company behind some of the world’s biggest gambling brands, like 888 Casino, Casino on Net, Costa Games Casino and many, many more. They don’t come much bigger than 888, in terms of international reputation, capitalisation and experience – all good news for players who want to make sure they can trust Ted Bingo to offer a fair, secure gambling experience.

Ted Bingo is overseen by the UK Gambling Commission, one of the most highly regarded regulators in the world. While the company is based out of Gibraltar, the UK accreditation is a legal requirement for bingo operators doing business in the UK and ensures that an independent third party is keeping an overview on their every move. This is one of the best markers of a trusted brand.

In terms of security, the Ted Bingo site is as secure as they come, benefiting from industry leading encryption technologies. These protect sensitive information submitted through forms on the Ted Bingo site, while transactions are handled independently on behalf of leading payment processors like Visa, Mastercard and PayPal. This combines to make Ted Bingo one of the most secure bingo sites on the Internet, and somewhere you can feel more than confident will keep you safe.

Ted Bingo generally scores well in its reviews, with very few users complaining of anything specific. There are a few negative reviews floating around, but these are mostly from players who got a welcome bonus and didn’t win any money – not exactly something you can criticize the operator for. On balance, despite the tendency for aggrieved players to leave bad reviews, there are very few critical comments about Ted Bingo, another good sign for players looking to trust this operator.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Deposits and withdrawals at Ted are eas, with support for a wide range of payment methods, including PayPal. The minimum withdrawal starts at just £5, although as standard, you’ll need to provide ID documentation for verification ahead of withdrawing your money for the first time

Withdrawals are processed in 4-7 working days, which is a long time, but by no means uncommon among bingo sites. It would be nice if this was quicker, but by and large payments don’t tend to cause any issues for players at this bingo site.

Bonuses and Promotions

Ted Bingo welcomes new players through the door with what appears to be a compelling bonus offer: spend £10, get £40, in the form of bingo bonus credit. From a minimum £10 deposit, players are offered a 200% deposit match up to £40, plus £10 worth of bingo cards. As is the norm with these types of bonuses, a number of terms and conditions apply and it’s worth investigating these further before signing up to claim this bonus offer.

You have to be a first time player creating your first account in order to qualify for the bonus. The £10 of bingo tickets buys 10x£1 tickets for the £777 Jackpot game, played daily at 8.30pm. The bonus is valid for just 7 days, during which time players have to spend and meet the wagering requirements on any bonus funds in order to be eligible for a withdrawal.

The wagering requirements stand at 3x, and that’s deposit + bonus. On its own, 3x isn’t too bad and around the average for leading bingo bonuses of this kind. However, because in this case it’s 3x the deposit plus the bonus, rather than just 3x the bonus, it’s actually a lot stricter than comparative bingo bonuses. This is one term that Ted Bingo should think about relaxing – a 3x d+b – it becomes challenging for most players to exit this bonus in profit.

Other terms, such as withdrawal limits, apply to this bonus offer, and you can find the full terms and conditions at Ted Bingo. This is a decent enough welcome bonus on the face of things, but the wagering requirements do limit its usefulness for new players.

Game Selection

Ted Bingo is part of the Dragonfish network, powered by 888’s in-house bingo and gaming software. This is the same software that’s behind the likes of Wink Bingo, Foxy Bingo and 888 Ladies, so Ted is in good company. The result is a high quality selection of games covering everything you’d expect on the bingo front (with 90-ball, 75-ball, speed bingo and more), as well as a host of leading slots and instant win games to choose from.

It’s easy to navigate between games, with upcoming bingo games laid out on the main Bingo gaming window so you can see what’s going on at a glance. Flick to the slots tab at the top of the page, and you’ll get access to the full range of slots games, where you can play Rainbow Riches, Starburst and Golden Goddess.

Mobile App

Simply heading over to Ted Bingo in your device browser will get you started, bringing up the site in a native resolution for an optimal experience on any device. The mobile site is easy to use, and proved so successful that it inspired a redesign of the site for desktop. You’ll find it easy to navigate, with the menu options at the foot of the screen, while accessing games is quick and painless

If you’re an iPhone owner, Ted Bingo have got you well covered. Their iOS bingo app offers a virtually identical experience to that on desktop, with similar graphics and layout elements making it simple to switch between the two.

Unfortunately, Android owners are left a little in the lurch – there’s no app available for Android users, so you’re left with no option but to play through the mobile site. That’s not exactly a major disappointment for most players, but it would be good if Ted Bingo invested in recreating the iOS app experience for Android, which would make their mobile bingo offering even better.

Review Summary

Ted Bingo is a good all-round bingo site, with a nice design, decent games and a good mobile experience. They could do with improving their bonus offer Ts and Cs, and an Android app would be a good addition to the mix in future. Otherwise, this is a trustworthy, fun place to play with plenty of big money games to keep you coming back for more.

Losing points for its lack of an Android app and stiff bonus terms, Ted Bingo still comes in at a more than respectable 8 out of 10. This is still a relatively new site, and with a score as high as this so early on, the future looks even brighter for Ted Bingo.
