Launched in the UK in 2017, WinningRoom is an online casino from the team behind Mr Green, Evoke Gaming Ltd. WinningRoom had operated since 2004 in Sweden, under the name Vinnarum Casino, but has since then had a makeover and rebranding for the UK market. The result is a bright and fun UKGC-credited online casino, with WinningRoom offering a huge selection of slots and table games. An intriguing welcome offer also encourages players to sign up to this online casino from multi-award winning Evoke Gaming Ltd.

Safety and Trustworthiness

WinningRoom Casino is owned by Evoke Gaming Ltd, who also operate, among other brands, Mr Green and RedBet. WinningRoom is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and Malta Gaming Authority, with both regulatory bodies generally considered seen to be rigorous and thorough in their oversight. Put simply, WinningRoom Casino has had to meet the requisite criteria to gain a license from the UKGC and the MGA.

In addition, WinningRoom has taken several steps to ensure your details are kept safe and that there is transparency to fair gaming practices. On the security front, all data and transactions are encrypted using SSL technology. All data is kept in a separate internal server, meaning details are less susceptible to hacks. In addition, WinningRoom keeps multiple ‘redundant’ servers, allowing for fewer instances of website failure.

In terms of fair gaming, WinningRoom employs several independent auditors to ensure game results are open and fair. For example, card-shuffling practices are overseen by eCOGRA, as is RNG (Random Number Generator) testing for virtual games.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, WinningRoom gets plenty of plaudits for its trustworthiness from player testaments and casino review sites. ThePogg, for example, has given WinningRoom 10/10 for Trustworthiness. Other review sites agree, with many keen to point out that WinningRoom is quick to resolve any disputes should they arise.

Deposits & Withdrawals

WinningRoom Casino has often been commended for its fast withdrawal processing times of less than 24 hours. PayPal isn’t available, but other internet wallets, like Skrill and Neteller, are offered. £10 is the minimum deposit.

Bonuses

Right now, WinningRoom has a two-tiered casino welcome bonus, made up of a 100% matched bonus up to £100 and a spin on the Wheel of Fortune, which guarantees between 15 and 250 Free Spins on Twin Spin slot. A minimum deposit of £20 is needed to activate the welcome bonus. In addition, bonus code WIN should be entered on the deposit page.

The wagering requirements on the matched bonus (added to the initial deposit) and any winnings from free spins are fairly average, coming in at x35. Thus, a £20 bonus would yield £40 in total, requiring £1400 of wagering to completely fulfil all requirements. However, WinningRoom stacks the bonus below the deposited (real money) funds, meaning you can withdraw money and forgo the bonus at any time before meeting those wagering requirements. As usual, the majority of slots count 100% towards wagering, with a small selection of slots, and all table and live games restricted. A £2 maximum bet is permitted for bonus wagering.

Frankly, we like the excitement of a spin on the Wheel of Fortune being added to a matched deposit bonus, and Twin Spin is a great slot choice for an award of up to 250 free spins. However, the wagering requirements are much too high for our liking. On the plus side, WinningRoom has bucked the trend seen elsewhere of putting a maximum cap on bonus winnings.

Game Selection

WinningRoom partners with software developing giants NetEnt, Microgaming, Evolution, SG Digital and others. WinningRoom has been constantly adding to its collection of slots since its launch and it now offers 876 games. A run down of the most popular slots includes: Game of Thrones, Breakaway and Hitman (Microgaming); Jack Hammer 2, Sparks and Warlords (NetEnt); Book of Dead, Hugo 2 and Leprechaun Goes to Egypt (Play’n Go). Play’n Go also provides WinningRoom with an exclusive new slot – Golden Colts.

Twenty-seven jackpot games are available to play on the WinningRoom’s Casino site. This includes the usual suspects, like Mega Moolah, King Cashalot and Mega Fortune, but also several less common titles, such as 7 Monkeys, Dolphin Gold Stellar Jackpots and Millionaire’s Club: Diamond Edition.

A generous, varied selection of 37 virtual table games awaits players at WinningRoom, especially commendable when many new casinos seem to have overlooked this area. This selection includes eight variations of roulette, 11 blackjack games and lots of options for baccarat, punto banco, Red Dog and Hi-Lo card games.

Like the virtual table games above, WinningRoom also has a strong showing when it comes to poker. Nine video pokers are offered, alongside seven table versions like Casino Hold’em and Oasis Poker Professional. Again, a big thumbs up as some new online casinos have neglected this area.

There is a smart live casino, powered by NetEnt Live and Evolution Gaming. A fine selection of live blackjack and roulette tables awaits, along with options for live baccarat, Three Card Poker, Casino Hold’em and Caribbean Stud Poker. The choice of 44 live dealer games comes with a range of betting levels, suitable for high rollers and casual players alike. Full marks to WinningRoom here.

Finally, WinningRoom deserves big credit for the layout of the site. The fact that there are close to 1000 games in total means that it could feel overwhelming. However, WinningRoom has solved this issue by providing a search function that lets players search by game type, provider etc. In addition, a handy filter system is provided to search for slots by certain features, like Special Wilds or Free Spins. In our opinion, this is an excellent feature and all top online casinos should have a similar option.

Mobile App

An app is not yet available for WinningRoom Casino, but games can be played on Winning Room’s mobile casino website, which works well on any Android or iOS phone or tablet. Not all games available on desktop can be played on the mobile site though there is still a big selection. For example, 20 of the 27 jackpot games can be played on mobile, plus there are 32 live dealer tables, as well as 588 slot games. You will, of course, be able to play all the specifically popular mobile slots like Starburst, Shangri-La: The Legend of Cluster Pays and Wild, Wild West.

In terms of layout and functionality, the WinningRoom mobile site has all the plus points as the desktop version, with those innovative search features helping you locate your favourite games and favourite types of games. In addition, a non-buggy, smooth HTML5 format is used, meaning games load quickly and smoothly. Still, an app is pretty much a must nowadays so there’s points lost on this criteria. Still, any casino that wants to cut its teeth on the UK market should have an app available, something we hope the Winningroom team will rectify soon.

Promotions

Long-running promos and bonuses look a bit thin on the ground at WinningRoom at the moment, but there are plenty of testaments from players that many tailored offers and daily bonuses do come their way. It’s worth nothing that the wagering requirements also change depending on the bonus. So, for example, any matched deposit bonus of 100% or more requires a 35x turnover, whereas any matched deposit bonus of less than 100% – and WinningRoom seems to offer these reload bonuses quite frequently – have a wagering requirement at a more-manageable x25.

Possibly the best currently advertised long-running promo is the Happy Hour offer for live casino players. Wager just £20 on live casino games over the course of the weekend and you will receive a £10 bonus (x35 wagering). Something important to note is that there doesn’t seem to be any loyalty or VIP schemes for players at WinningRoom Casino, which could certainly turn off high rollers from joining the site.

Review Summary

Winning Room’s 800+ games puts it full square in that tier 1 group of casinos for game choice alongside Videoslots, Dunder and Casumo. Although if we’re being hyper critical, we could point out that Winning Rooms’s games are sourced from a smaller selection of software developers than these casinos. Winning Room’s site is, quite frankly, a joy to navigate around. The casino is a brilliant all-rounder, covering lots of areas – poker, table games – that some new casinos tend to overlook. In addition, there have been some nice testaments about customer service and players seem to wax lyrical about those super-fast withdrawal times.

For that reason, Winning Room gets a well-deserved 8/10 from us. However, it should be noted that the score could easily be a 9+  with the following additions and adjustments namely wagering requirements being brought down a little, PayPal and a casino app added and a clearly defined loyalty programme.
