STS Bet looks to set itself apart from the hundreds of other betting sites out there with its great variety and excellent odds. The site does well to provide a simplified and user-friendly experience whilst still packing in a lot of top-quality events to bet on.

Established in 2016, STS bet is operated in Malta by STS.Bet Limited. The company have set up a great site for new and experienced players alike to enjoy. The site promises players great variety and a big selection of different sports and events to bet on, but does it compare to what’s already out there? Read on for our full review to find out if it’s worth signing up for an account on STS Bet today.

Safety and Trustworthiness

Before signing up to any site you should always double-check it’s safe and trustworthy and betting sites are no different. Our reviews always look up the trustworthiness of a site to ensure that you can have peace of mind when depositing and making bets on the site.

The first thing to look into when judging a site’s safety is who it’s regulated by. In the case of STS Bet, the site is regulated by both the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission. Any site which holds a UK Gambling Commission Licence must pass strict checks and controls to ensure that players are protected when using the site. You can rest assured that STS Bet is safe to use and your funds will be secure whilst on your account.

In addition to the gaming licences that STS Bet holds, the site is also regularly audited to make sure they comply with rules and regulations and that the site is fair and reasonable. If a player does experience an issue with the site and feels like it hasn’t been resolved properly, the site will comply fully with an adjudication process from a third party company such as eCOGRA. This means that if you feel you’ve been treated unfairly whilst using the site, you’ll be able to make a formal complaint to see the issue resolved.

Although the site is fairly new on the scene, there are a few user reviews and complaints to be found about STS Bet online. Some users have experienced issues with slow customer support, delayed withdrawals and missing bonuses. Hopefully, these are just teething issues as the site is newly established and the problems can be worked out soon as the site has a lot to offer.

Deposits & Withdrawals

STS Bet allows the use of most major payment methods including bank transfers, e-Wallets and credit and debit cards to make both withdrawals and deposits. Deposits are usually fast, happening instantly however when it comes to withdrawals it’s not quite as good. All withdrawals are listed as taking at least 2-3 working days to process, the exact time taken will depend on the payment method you choose. Some users online have complained about the slow withdrawal times and this is certainly something that can be improved by STS Bet if they want to challenge the big betting sites.

When depositing at STS Bet, you should be aware that there’s a minimum amount of £10. There’s no minimum amount for withdrawals but there is a maximum amount of £10,000 per day which is pretty standard on most betting sites.

You should also note that you won’t be able to withdraw your funds completely unless they have been wagered at least once on the site. A 3% charge will be deducted from any withdrawals of money that hasn’t been wagered on the site.

Mobile

Although right now there’s no dedicated mobile app for STS Bet, you can still access the site easily from your mobile and place bets on the go no matter where you are. Simply load up the STS Bet site as normal on your phone or tablet. You’ll be able to sign into your account and view all the same sports and markets as before, including in-play options.

You’ll find the mobile site works well on all handheld devices even older models of tablets and phones and the site runs smooth and is easy to use. Although a dedicated app would be good, so you can get notifications to your mobile device, accessing the mobile site is much quicker and easier than downloading a new app.

Finding your way around on the site is still simple and just as user-friendly as the main site. Categories are simple to use and all the main sports are easy to find on the front page. If you’re signed in you’ll also be able to view your favourites and you can view the top leagues of each major sport.

Bet Offers

Of course, as with many other betting sites, STS Bet offers an interesting welcome bonus to new players. If you’re signing up for the first time and live in the UK you’ll be able to claim a maximum free bet of £30. Sounds like a pretty good deal, but does the bonus still hold up once we examine its terms?

Like any betting site bonus, terms are included to make sure the betting site isn’t just giving away loads of free cash. With STS Bet, you’ll need to make sure your first deposit is at least £5. To receive the full bonus, your first deposit has to be at least £30. Then, you’ll need to make sure the first bet you place with your new account is on an accumulator of at least 3 markets. Again, if you want to get the maximum bonus of £30, your bet will have to be at least £30.

Each bet of the accumulator selection must be at odds of at least 4/5 (1.8) or higher to qualify. The bet must also settle within 14 days of your account being open. If you managed to follow all of that you’ll then receive a Bonus Bet Token to your account of the same amount as your bet (maximum £30). This bonus bet has to be used within 14 days or it will expire.

You should note before signing up that certain payment methods won’t count towards unlocking this bonus. Most of the e-Wallets won’t count as a qualifying deposit and won’t unlock the bonus. You should also be aware that you can’t use the cash-out feature on any of the qualifying bets if you want to unlock the bonus bet.

This isn’t a bad bonus by any means and a free £30 is a pretty good amount just for signing up and making a bet. Some of the terms do make the bonus offer a bit restrictive though and it would be harder for new players to fully enjoy the sign-up offer as it currently stands.

Betting Markets And Odds Quality

Overall STS Bet has a nicely organised site and it’s certainly easy to find your way around, even with the large number of sports and markets on offer. Compared to some other major bookmakers such as Betfair and Bet365 it has a clean and well-designed layout that injects some much-needed colour into the industry.

All the major sports are available for you to bet on at STS Bet and you´ll find hundreds of different events from big sports such as football, basketball, tennis and ice hockey. You’ll be able to view major leagues from each of these top sports and search events by what time they’re taking place. All the major sports have hundreds of different events and markets for you to bet on and you´ll find plenty of different options.

Alongside the most popular sports, STS Bet also caters to more niche events and has loads of markets available on sports like American Football, baseball, floorball, table tennis and more. On top of this, you can also find a great selection of eSports to bet on at STS Bet. Unlike most sites which categorise eSports all together, STS Bet gives different categories for each eSport so you can easily bet on CS:GO, Rainbow 6 League of Legends and Dota 2.

Making bets using the site is simple and once you’ve selected your bet your betslip will pop up from the bottom of the screen. It can easily be minimised and brought back up whenever you need to view it and check on your current bets which is good. The front page of the site features live events, events starting soon and upcoming big matches so you’ll never miss out on your bets.

Odds on events at STS Bet are regularly good value and are usually equal or close to the odds at other major bookmakers. We didn’t find many examples of odds that were better value but most of the major football events we checked were on par with major sites. Events such as the Premier League and Champions League were priced with similar odds to big sites such as Betfair and Bet365.

If you get tired of sports betting, STS Bet also has you covered with an online casino. You’ll be able to use your sportsbook account and funds on the casino. The online casino has games such as exciting video slots, poker, blackjack and more classic casino games. On top of this, there’s a good selection of live casino games where you’ll be able to get an authentic casino experience playing against a live dealer. You’ll be able to enjoy all this using your regular account and potentially win big prizes.

In-Play Betting

Alongside standard betting, STS Bet also provides the popular live in-play betting on most sports. In-play betting allows you to make bets on events that are currently taking place. Rather than placing a bet on an upcoming event, you can get straight into the action, making bets as you watch the game live. In-play betting is popular because of how much more control it gives the player. You can get up to date stats and information which help you to make the best possible bets.

At STS Bet, most major sports have live options available for you to be on. The In-play betting options are separated into their own category so you can easily access the latest odds and place live bets on around 15 different sports including football, tennis, volleyball, eSports and more. When choosing which bet to place STS Bet make live statistics of the event available for you. The site makes accessing live stats easy which is great for placing bets.

Unlike some bigger sites like Bet365, there’s no live streaming currently on offer at STS Bet. However, there is a live graphic which shows you the current action areas on the pitch and indicates what’s happening in the match. This kind of information isn’t as helpful as actually watching the game but can still give a good indication of what might happen, making placing bets easier.

Support

When it comes to customer service, STS Bet could make some improvements. Right now, there’s an FAQ page which answers some basic questions and an email. There’s no live chat or phoneline to contact if you run into an issue. Some STS Bet customers have complained online that customer support are slow to respond to emails.

Review Summary

Overall, we think STS Bet shows great promise. It hasn’t been around for that long so still has some things to work on and improve. The number of sports and markets to bet on is fantastic and there’s a definite focus on eSports which is good as these are often underrepresented on other sites.

We’d like to see an improvement to the terms of the bonus as it’s quite hard for new players to fully benefit from it right now. We also think STS could work on their customer support to deal with player issues quicker and ensure that there can be no complaints.

We’d be happy to recommend STS Bet as a betting site for those looking to make eSports bets.
