Les Ambassadeurs Club, one of Mayfair’s most exclusive casinos comes online with Mansion Casino, its online affiliate. Established in 2004, Mansion Casino is owned and operated by the Mansion Group Casinos, the company which also operates Casino.com. It’s online offering breathes digital life into Les Ambassadeurs Club, founded back in 1941, and offers a unique package of decent quality games and bonuses – including for high rollers. Powered by Playtech, Mansion delivers a wide range of the Playtech slots and table games. Dive into our detailed Mansion review below to find out more on the nuts and bolts of the operation.

Safety and Trustworthiness

One of the most obvious starting points for Mansion Casino is that it’s a safe and secure place to play online. Les Ambassadeurs Club has been on the go for decades, and you don’t get to build this level of momentum if you’re not doing something right. Similarly, Mansion Casino has been online since 2004, giving them well over a decade to make sure they’ve got a highly secure and reputable service.

Football fans will instantly recognise Mansion Casino as main shirt sponsors of Tottenham Hotspur, an association which costs £34 million. Affiliation with such a high profile and prestigious club speaks to the trustworthiness of a brand that has grown into the mainstream.

The UK Gambling Commission has licensed Mansion Casino to operate within the UK, while the casino is also governed by the Gibraltar Licensing Authority for players outside of the UK. These are amongst two of the most reputable gambling accreditation bodies in the world, ensuring that Mansion Casino operates within the law and fair play requirements across all of the jurisdictions it operates in.

It is also a member of the Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association, as well as the Independent Betting Adjudication Service, both of which mean you can trust Mansion Casino to operate above board.

In terms of security, Mansion relies on ultra-secure 128-bit encryption, as well as storing its data on firewall-secured servers, for extra peace of mind. When it comes to security and trustworthiness, Mansion Casino has done more than enough on paper to tick the box.

While it may be a secure and trusted site, not every player has had a good experience, and there are several issues raised by previous players online. Their feedback suggests that some players have difficulty with withdrawals and satisfying the casino’s verification procedures. This is to be expected from any casino that deals with a large volume of players, but it’s worth familiarizing yourself with the terms and conditions, including the bonus terms, ahead of time – that way, you can avoid ending up in the same position as those find themselves unhappy with some elements of their service.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Pending withdrawal time is 72 hours, and withdrawals can take up to 8 days or longer if you’re withdrawing by bank transfer or cheque. This is poor by industry standards, although it’s not too uncommon for Playtech casinos to post these types of clearing times. In terms of payment methods on both the deposit and the withdrawal side, Mansion Casino covers all the bases, with ample scope for players to choose the payment method best suited to them. Mansion casino is considered to be one of UK’s top £20 deposit casinos, allowing its player to deposit as little as 5 pound with most available payment methods.

Game Selection

Mansion Casino is powered by Playtech – good news for fans of Marvel slot games. Unfortunately, there’s only the one game provider here, and while Playtech games are fine they’re quite a way from being at the cutting edge of game design. The site could benefit from offering games from other developers such as NetEnt or even games form boutique providers such as Play’n Go to provide a richer gaming experience.

Of course, the majority of the games on offer are slots, but there’s also a selection of table games that puts London’s exclusive Les Ambassadeur Club to shame.

The site is organised in an intuitive and fluid way, and it couldn’t be simpler to find the games you’re looking for. Games are organised by genre, with Slots, Jackpots, Table Games, Live Games and Video Poker providing the main categories. There is also the option to browse the list of the Top Games, which can be handy for finding out about popular new releases, or even the full A-Z of all their titles if you’re looking for something specific.

In terms of software, most players choose to play in-browser, which offers quick access to the games on any device. For Windows users, there’s also the download software, which you can grab by clicking the Download link on the website’s top nav bar. This automatically begins the downloading process, and installation from there is a breeze – just follow the online instructions and you’ll get set up as quickly as possible.

Note – if you’re playing on a Mac or any other non-Windows device, you’re not able to download the software. Instead, you can play the same selection of games in-browser, and an equivalent tech spec will give you the smoothest possible gaming experience.

Mobile App

Mobile players are spoiled for choice, with a range of methods available for accessing Mansion Casino. The first and perhaps most straightforward is on your device browser, and the website is fully responsive for a native experience, whatever mobile device you’re using. There’s also an app for iOS and Android users respectively, both of which are available to download for free for the most immersive gaming experience Mansion Casino has to offer.

The mobile casino apps are easy to use and install, and they look classy with the Mansion Casino branding reflected throughout. If there was a limitation, it would be in the selection of games. Rather than the hundreds of games available on the online version, there’s only a couple of dozen on mobile. They are still representative of a broad spread of the casino’s games, but you will notice it’s a more limited experience when playing on a smartphone or tablet device.

Finding and playing games is easy you simply touch the game you want to play to get the action underway. The app also saves you time fumbling around as typing in the URL or logging in, making it more straightforward to get the gaming underway when you’re on the move.

All in all, the mobile experience is a good one, and the games work well through both the apps and the in-browser mobile versions. It’s only a shame there weren’t more of them.

Promotions

Mansion Casino regularly runs promotions for new and existing players. These help keep things interesting, above and beyond playing the range of games they have to offer. The welcome bonus is obviously the flagship promotion for new players, and that forms much of the thrust of their marketing. But there are also a range of revolving promotions available, and you can find the details on their ’Promotions’ page at any given time.

The Free Spins Fortune promotion gives players the chance to win free spins every day, when players deposit using the relevant free spins promo codes. These are free spins on allocated slots only, and the winnings are credited as bonus funds, which must be used again on the same slots before they can be withdrawn. But when you consider these are additional bonuses, simply for topping up your account, it’s not a bad addition to the offer. Again, check the Promotions page for up to date information about this, and the other promotional offers.

Red or Black is Mansion Casino’s weekly roulette-themed promotion, giving you the chance to either double your winnings or half your wagering on new deposits made on a Wednesday. The bonus isn’t restricted to roulette either – choose RED for a 100% deposit bonus up to £400 with a 40x wagering requirement, or BLACK for a 50% deposit bonus up to £400 with 20x wagering requirement.

The Make Your Match promotion allows a 100% reload bonus on the first deposit of every month, up to £500 or £1,000 for high rollers. This bonus is subject to the 40x wagering requirement, but as reload bonuses go, it’s pretty generous. And certainly not a bad way to kick off every month.

There’s also an ongoing Refer a Friend promotion, where you get a £50 bonus for referring a new first time player to Mansion Casino. You can invite up to 20 friends in the casino’s cashier menu, and any bonus funds are only subject to a 15x wagering requirement – so that’s potentially £1,000 in extra bonuses, at just 15x. Just make sure your friends email support to ensure you get credit for your referral.

These promotions complement the welcome bonus nicely, and could see you bumping up your bonus bankroll as you continue to play at this casino. It’s extremely important to consult the terms and conditions of any promotional offer before diving in, though, as there are understandably a number of restrictions that apply. Promotions can also change at short notice, and are regularly updated throughout the year, so make sure you check with Mansion Casino’s Promotions page before deciding on the best promos to take advantage of.

Review Summary

As the online affiliate of Les Ambassadeurs Club, you would expect Mansion Casino to provide a high end experience. A Decent selection of games and an acceptable sized bonus match all feed into that expectation, helping Mansion Casino realize its potential. But this is a casino that’s not without its problems

The mobile platform, while still decent enough, is a little more limited in terms of game selection, and some players will find this too restrictive for regular play on their smartphone or tablet devices. Further, the pending time for withdrawals is much longer than average, and there’s evidence from online forums of players waiting a while to get their hands on their money.

With plus points for its bonus size and design but negative points for its withdrawal processing and selection of games (from non-Playtech developers) we’re giving Mansion casino 7 out of 10.
