Casinos are in the business of making dreams come true, or at least they should be – the best PR for any casino is stories of previous winners who struck it lucky. Casino of Dreams channels this spirit, in a casino that combines the best of desktop, mobile and live play gaming. Launched in late 2015, Casino of Dreams stands as a relatively new entrant to the market, part of Broadway Gaming Ltd. – a company with some pedigree in online gambling. While Casino of Dreams is their first foray into online casinos, the company is also responsible for a stable of bingo sites, including Dotty Bingo and Butler Bingo, amongst others. Safety and Trustworthiness

Casino of Dreams is dual-regulated, with licenses in both the UK and Malta. Casinos facing UK customers are now obliged to be regulated by the Gambling Commission, which provides arguably one of the most stringent compliance regimes in the world, for extra peace of mind. For players outside the UK, the casino is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority giving it another layer of security to UK players.

Taken together, these two channels of regulation ensure Casino of Dreams provides a fair, honest experience to their players, as well as providing a contact point for resolving any problems or complaints. Over and above that, Casino of Dreams is certified by independent watchdog eCOGRA as Safe and Fair, for extra confidence that you’re playing with a legitimate operator.

While Broadway Gaming Ltd. is a privately held company with little discernible track record in online casinos, the fact they stand behind no fewer than five online gambling brands means you can be confident they have the financial resources to back up your bets.

In terms of data and banking security, Casino of Dreams relies on industry-leading 128-bit SSL encryption, in addition to teaming up with some of the world’s most secure payment providers like Visa, Neteller and Skrill. From a security point of view, it doesn’t get much tighter than that.

Feedback from players on online forums is mixed, with some players reporting difficulties withdrawing funds or during the account verification process. This isn’t exactly rare, and players do often seem to fall foul of the terms and conditions. That said, the vast majority of players have satisfactory experiences with Casino of Dreams, and there are countless five star reviews for the selection of games and the overall gaming experience on offer.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Deposits start from £10.00, with a minimum withdrawal threshold of £20.00. The collection of payment methods covers most of the big guns, with the exception of PayPal, a crucial addition for the future. Deposit and withdrawal functions are handled through the Bank menu, which is linked from the top left of the website for your convenience.

Bonuses

The welcome bonus is one of the flagship promotions Casino of Dreams uses to attract new players. The bonus package is worth up to £1,000 across the first three deposits – a decent headline figure for kickstarting your account. On the first deposit, you’re looking at a 100% bonus match deposit up to a maximum of £250, followed by 50% up to £250 on your second deposit. By the time you reach deposit three, you’re offered a 100% bonus up to £500. That means you need to deposit £1250 over your three deposits to claim the full £1,000 in bonus credit.

There are of course the usual types of restrictions in place – not least the regular wagering requirements of 40x. You’re not eligible to withdraw from your account until you’ve hit this threshold. Wagering requirements vary from game to game, with only slots contributing 100% towards your wagering requirement. In the case of table games like roulette, blackjack and video poker, you’re looking at 8% wagering contribution – in other words, £0.08 towards your 40x multiple for every £1 you wager.

It’s also worth noting that when you initiate a withdrawal, the terms and conditions stipulate that this wipes out any remaining bonus credit. So, don’t be too hasty to withdraw your winnings if you still want to play with remaining bonus credit. There’s also a max bet of 6.25 credits until you’ve met the wagering requirement threshold for withdrawal. For more information, it always makes sense to check the bonus terms and conditions.

If you’re looking to play slots, the bonus isn’t too bad, despite the various restrictions in place to prevent bonus abuse. At 40x, it’s middle of the road, and we’ve certainly seen a lot worse from comparable casinos. However, the 8% contribution from roulette, blackjack and video poker does feel a little tight. As is the case with most casino bonuses you’re only really going to clear this bonus if you’re a slot player or turning over serious sums.

Game Selection

Casino of Dreams has a decent selection of games, covering slots, roulette, blackjack, video poker, a selection of other table games and more. There are 166 video slots, plus 11 huge progressive jackpot slots to contend with, alongside a juicy selection of 75 3-reel slots for the traditionalists. There’s also a very strong live casino section, with 7 high quality human-dealer games if that’s your thing. It’s not the biggest selection of games in the world, but Casino of Dreams does have something for everyone, and you’re unlikely to find yourself getting bored with the selection on offer here.

Where things start to stumble for Casino of Dreams is in the software provider department. The gaming software here is provided by Microgaming, one of the handful of names in the top tier of the industry. Their game technologies are fine and you will get a good but not great gaming experience – whatever you choose to play.

The trouble is, it’s only Microgaming at Casino of Dreams, which in this day and age, no longer cuts the mustard when you’ve got casinos like Videoslots.com covering games from 20+ different companies.

Aside from the games, there are regular slots tournaments on offer for VIP players, with additional cash pots ranging into the thousands. These are advertised on the Casino of Dreams site, and VIP players can get free access to these multi-round tournaments, which definitely helps keep things fresh.

All of the gaming action takes place in browser, with no download software available. For most players, that’s a good thing (provided you’re using a device that’s no more than 10 years old), and means simple, fast-loading games within your regular web browser, rather than installing and downloading casino software to your PC.

Mobile players can enjoy the same ease of access, playing the range of mobile games on offer on their smartphone or tablet browser. Unfortunately, there isn’t a dedicated casino app – so just head over to the Casino of Dreams site on your mobile device to get started.

You’ll notice that the game choice is restricted, but there are still over 75 slots and a selection of your favorite table games evident on mobile platforms. This is more to do with the games themselves being compatible for play on mobile devices, and still represents a strong selection in comparison to other similar mobile casinos.

Promotions

Casino of Dreams offers a loyalty program alongside their welcome bonus. To be honest, there could be a little more detail about ongoing promotions on their website, but at the time of publishing, there wasn’t much there. They likely update promotions on an ongoing basis, but there doesn’t seem to be too much going on.

There’s the Daily Deal promotion which offers a chance of a Mystery Prize on a daily basis, where players who deposit £20 or more unlock 7-day access to the feature. It takes on the format of a slots-style ‘pick-me’ bonus, where you get a choice of 3 picks from a selection…hoping that at least one of them is hiding something good.

There’s also the Casino Club loyalty program, where players can be bumped up the VIP rankings with loyal, ongoing play. There’s very little detail on the accumulation of points, or on how you qualify for higher levels, but you will gain access to the slots tournaments as you become a VIP player, and the Promotions FAQs says the casino will let you know. More of a ‘don’t call us, we’ll call you’ type approach to the loyalty programme.

Review Summary

Casino of Dreams is a solid offering, from a reputable company with a track record in online gambling. While Casino of Dreams might be their first casino brand it’s clear that the operators, Broadway Gaming Ltd essentially know what they’re doing.

The selection of games on offer is broad enough, and all games are of a high quality on both desktop and mobile devices. It’s just that nowadays having games from just one provider is no longer sufficient. Players like to see the variety in styles, look and feel that comes from the different companies.

The bonuses are decent (even if the ongoing promotions leave a little to be desired), and while the usual restrictions are in effect, they’re not too overwhelming. Unlike some bonus terms which restrict bonuses so much that they are no longer worth the effort, the 40x wagering requirement is reasonable. Just be sure to familiarize yourself with the bonus terms and conditions beforehand, as this seems to be where the majority of customer complaints arise.

All in all, this is a good casino and with a wider software selection, dedicated app and PayPal it would be pushing for 8 or even 9 out 10. For the time being though we’re grading it a 7 but one that is definitely still worth taking a plunge and seeing if your dreams can be made!
