Webmoney Transfer, a Moscow based money transfer service, was formed in 1998. The company boasts service to more than 100,000 merchants and has around 40 million users across the world. The system works similarly to Bitcoin, where users can buy ‘WM units’ and then withdraw them into different currency wallets. It currently offers pay-outs in US dollars, Euros, Russian Roubles and many other options.
